We’re pretty big fans of the Orchard Garden Hotel with it being the first soon to be LEED certified hotel in Cali. The thing is that the Rooftop Garden should actually be declared the Rooftop Patio. Although the hotel staff mentions that it’s not completed the “garden” contains great views of the SF concrete jungle but extremely little in th way of anything green. Most of the top appears as a concrete jungle with only a smattering of plant and flowers.
Surprisingly the ninth floor suites actually contain more greenery than the rooftop garden. Maybe with the hotel completing it’s final stages it will complete the rooftop and actually change the setting from patio to garden.
