I work as an account manager for a commercial flooring contractor in Sacramentom, CA. We have a corporate account we are pursuing right now and one of their requirements is that we be able to pull up, store, and ship old carpet to a recycling center as part of our contract with their firm. I am also looking for information on how to determine what type of fiber an existing carpet has on a remodel job in that from my research it appears only type 6.6. nylon can be re-used.
